About Carl Frost CPA, CVA

Carl N. Frost, CPA, CVA graduated from Trinity University and earned his CPA Certificate while practicing in the Tax Department of Arthur Anderson & Company. He then worked with two consulting firms providing specialized services to the medical community. He has over 35 years experience in the financial and practice management of medical practices and structuring client financial operations to maximize profits.

In December 1995 he received the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). The CVA accreditation is a statement to the business, professional, legal and medical communities that an individual has attained a level of knowledge in business valuations that NACVA considers exemplary and worthy of recognition by awarding the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). This accreditation enhances the expertise required for valuations necessary in the areas of Hospital/Physician Affiliations and Practice Acquisitions, Mergers or Sales.

Utilizing his years of expertise, he formed his own practice in the summer of 1984. Frost & Company, P.C. has dedicated itself to fulfilling the unique consulting, financial and accounting needs of the medical communities in Houston, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Corpus Christi, Miami, Florida, Little Rock, Arkansas, Lubbock and Amarillo, Texas, East Texas, New Mexico and Arizona since 1978.

Mr. Frost has facilitated practice management seminars on various subjects including Alternative Delivery Systems; Adding Associates, Partners or Affiliating Practices, Embezzlement, Marketing Strategies, and "So You Want to Practice Medicine: How to Establish a New Practice". He is an active participant in professional, business and community organizations, including The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Houston Chapter TSCPA, Medical Group Management Association, Texas Gulf Coast Medical Group Management Association and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
